The floor-stand model has a moulded plastic base and can be moved into position with a light touch. Optional fixtures allow table-clamp or wall-mounted configurations, and an extension-arm attachment is available.

Applications described in the brochure include gynaecological and ophthalmic procedures, skin and plastic surgery, suture removal, minor surgery, outpatient procedures and microbiology colony counting.

Illumination is provided by an internally fitted white tube. Magnavision also supports the reading of small print in medical references, footnotes and drug-label information.
